JD in Nutshell:

Must Have:

1. Java development (including experience with JDK 8+ preferred)
2. Python
3. AWS S3

Good to have:

1. Experience in Aerospace domain
2. MySQL, Maven, Spring Framework, Jenkins, JIRA

Detailed JD:

Must Have

1. Minimum 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field with expertise in building and maintaining data models, data pipelines and resolving complex issues related to data engineering.
2. Strong proficiency in Java development (including experience with JDK 8+ preferred) ● High proficiency in Python code development, especially with data-handling activities
3. Experience with AWS S3
4. Experience in following an agile methodology (SAFe or SCRUM)
5. Expertise in working with various data tools and technologies, such as ETL frameworks, data pipelines
6. In-depth knowledge of data management principles and best practices, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.
7. Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
8. Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data engineering issues.
10. English: advanced level both verbal and written

Good to have

1. Experience with Aerospace domain will be a good advantage
2. Experience with the following technologies: MySQL, Maven, Spring Framework, Jenkins, JIRA

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years

A Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 6+ years of software development experience:

Assignment

1. Review, design and optimize data pipelines for the concerned applications
2. Support the Lead Data Engineer and PO on activities related to Simulation Data Management of Airline Sciences
3. Application comprises Aerospace domain data like - Airport Data, Navigation data, Demand and Cost data, etc.
4. Proactively work on Identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance data retrieval speed and overall system efficiency.
5. Build and support data pipelines to ingest data from various sources such as databases, APIs, etc.
6. Integrating and transforming data to ensure its compatibility with the target data model or format.
7. Ability to work under Agile and Scrum development methodologies
8. Uses technical knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.
