1. Job role: Cloud Operations DevOps

Job purpose:

The Cloud Operations DevOps is responsible for operating the Azure and OCI Cloud Platforms and the products that are hosted on the platform.

Reporting lines and interactions:

The Cloud Operations DevOps reports into the Infrastructure & Operations organization. He/She will be responsible for operating the Cloud Platforms (Azure and OCI) and the products hosted on these platforms, including monitoring, incident resolution, run activities… and for ensuring that the Cloud is operated following the Group standards.
The Cloud Operations DevOps will work under the supervision of the “Cloud, Systems & Databases Operations Manager”. 

Job scope:

1. Act as the point of contact for the Cloud users to solve their issues
2. Take over the resolution of all kinds of Cloud incidents relating to the Platform or to the Products hosted on the Platform: interconnectivity, network, access rights, industrialization / automation, monitoring…
3. Follow the Group standards to deploy the incident fixing
4. Act as an SRE by proposing structural improvements to avoid recurring incidents
5. Take over recurring run activities
6. Follow-up on the obsolescence management

Profile:

1. Experience operating Azure landing zones (not just applications hosted on a landing zone), including network, internet input/output, Azure/on-premises interconnection, firewalling, traffic routing, identities, authentication, encryption, security policies, OS factory...
2. Knowledge of Azure services and best practices
3. Specific knowledge of complex services, such as container-orchestration services, to be able to troubleshoot incidents
4. Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
5. Knowledge of a CICD tool (ideally Azure DevOps, but Gitlab CI, Jenkins, etc. experience is accepted)
6. Knowledge of a “Prometheus/Grafana”-like stack for Cloud monitoring/alerting
7. Experience in troubleshooting all kinds of incidents, be they Azure service-related, application-related, network-related…
8. OCI experience and knowledge would be appreciated, but they should come on top of Azure skills and not replace them. It means that we are looking for Azure specialists who can adapt to OCI, not the other way around

Work experience:

1. At least 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Cloud

 Minimum education level:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
