Must Have Skills: Core Java and Linux
Good to have skills: Documentum and SQL
 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain new backend services providing high-performance, high-availability APIs to frontend developers and external partners.
2. Conduct unit, functional, integration, and other forms of automated testing.
3. Help us meet aggressive performance and scalability goals, keeping us ahead of dramatic growth in the space.
4. Help us define the user experience so we can continue to delight our users.
5. Maintaining system uptime requires monitoring and observability.
6. Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure our system is up without any issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Strong software engineering fundamentals—object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms—are essential.
2. A quality-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to automated testing, metrics collection, monitoring, and continuous improvement in all of your work.
3. Knowledge in Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot will be an added advantage.
4. Experience implementing RESTful services with APIs.
5. The ability to drive features from conception to deployment in an agile team with continuous delivery is essential.
6. Experience working with relational databases.
7. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
8. Experience in solving complex architecture/design & business problems, working to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc.
