Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in JDA 2017 Space Planning Suite (Planogram & Floor Planning) and application support. The ideal candidate will lead L2/L3 support activities, drive issue resolution, manage stakeholder communication, and provide technical leadership across retail space management applications and associated technologies.

  • Total Experience : 6 years to 8 years
  • Location              : Chennai (Siruseri)
  • Mode of work      : Hybrid (3 days to office every week)
  • Shift Timing         : UK Shift

6+ years of experience in application support and software development.

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting JDA Planogram and Floor Planning applications.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead L2 and L3 support for JDA 2017 Space Planning applications including:
  2. Planogram Generator
  3. Planogram Automation
  4. Floor Planning
  5. Space Planning modules
  6. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues within SLA.
  7. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
  8. Coordinate with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
  9. Support application deployments, releases, and environment management.
  10. Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
  11. Develop and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
  12. Lead incident, problem, and change management activities.
  13. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  14. Participate in on-call support and critical incident management when required.

Technical Skills Required
Mandatory Skills: JDA Space Planning

  1. Strong hands-on experience with:
  2. JDA 2017 Planogram
  3. Floor Planning
  4. Space Planning applications
  5. Deep understanding of retail merchandising and space management processes.
  6. Experience in troubleshooting application, data, and integration issues.

Microsoft Technologies

  1. Strong experience in:
  2. C# /.NET Framework
  3. ASP.NET applications
  4. Web Services/APIs
  5. Ability to analyze and debug application code.

Database & ETL

  1. Advanced knowledge of:
  2. Microsoft SQL Server
  3. Stored Procedures
  4. Performance Tuning
  5. Query Optimization
  6. Database Design
  7. Strong experience in:
  8. SSIS package development and support
  9. ETL troubleshooting and monitoring
  10. Experience with:
  11. SSRS report development and support

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience in retail domain applications.
  2. Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
  3. Experience with batch scheduling tools and automation.
  4. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control systems.
  5. Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Leadership Expectations

  1. Act as the technical owner for supported applications.
  2. Drive service improvements and operational excellence.
  3. Engage directly with client stakeholders and business users.
  4. Lead technical discussions, solution design reviews, and support governance meetings.
  5. Provide mentoring and coaching to support and development team members.
