Job Description

Job Title: - SAP FICO Consultant

Relevant Experience: -  6-8 years

Primary Skills: -  SAP FI

Good to have – Exposure and understanding of SAP CO

Good to Have Integration Experience/Knowledge: - FI integration with MM, SD, PP, PS

Preferable Exposure: - Global Client Experience

Must have Experience: - 1-2 Implementation / Rollout and 2 -3 Support project.

 

Job Description

  1. SAP FICO Implementation & Configuration:
  2. Configure FI sub-modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting, Treasury Management system, Taxation.
  3. Should have the exposure of CO sub-modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

    2. Cross-Module Integration

  1. Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PS (Project Systems) PP (Production Planning) PM (Plant Maintenance).
  2. Collaborate with business users to ensure end-to-end process automation and data flow consistency.

3. Key Area Responsibilities:

  1. Provide L2/L3 support for SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA) modules
  2. Work on production issues raised by users through ticketing tools
  3. Handle incident resolution, problem management, and requests within defined SLAs.
  4. Work on IDOC/XML monitoring and require first level analysis and process the IDOCs in SAP.
  5. Perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues
  6. Work on configuration changes based on business requirements
  7. Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  8. Ensure proper documentation on recurrent issues.
  9. Coordinate with ABAP, MM, SD, other functional and Supply chain teams for issue resolution
  10. Support UAT, regression issue replication in lower environment and testing.
  11. Interact with business users to understand issues and provide solutions
  12. Good understanding of real-time business finance processes
  13. Ability to analyze SAP tables and error messages.
  14. Candidate should be willing to work in French Shift
  15. Candidate should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
