Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SSIS Production Support Lead with 8-10 years of hands-on experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Your expertise will contribute to the successful implementation and optimization of data integration solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate has a solid background in SSIS development and administration, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SSIS and ETL-related issues in a production environment. 
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SSIS/ETL solutions. 
  3. Design, develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. 
  4. Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and integrity of SSIS and ETL jobs. 
  5. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize ETL workflows for efficient data processing. 
  6. Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures. 
  7. Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, data mappings, and process flow diagrams. 
  8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in SSIS, ETL, and data integration technologies. 
  9. Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency. 
  10. Participate in on-call support rotations and respond to critical issues in a timely manner.

  4. Ability to work under pressure in critical production incidents

 

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years


Qualifications

  1. B.E / B.Tech 
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in SSIS development and administration. 
  3. Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration methodologies, and best practices. 
  4. Proficient in SQL programming and query optimization. 
  5. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SSIS packages. 
  6. In-depth understanding of database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server. 
  7. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling. 
  8. Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles. 
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  12. Relevant certifications in SSIS or ETL technologies are a plus.
