Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement to enhance team maturity and delivery effectiveness.
  • Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and proactively address risks to enable teams to meet sprint and release commitments.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Development Teams, and Leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning across the team.
  • Monitor sprint execution, team performance, and delivery progress through Agile metrics and KPIs.
  • Track, analyze, and report key Agile metrics including Velocity, Sprint Burndown, Burnup, Capacity Utilization, Release Readiness, and Predictability.
  • Facilitate effective stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, team engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, Inspect & Adapt Workshops, and cross-team coordination within SAFe Agile frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile governance standards and organizational delivery practices.
  • Compute, maintain, and report team and project KPIs, providing actionable insights for decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Promote Agile best practices, facilitate conflict resolution, and create an environment that supports high-performing, self-organized teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM-I/II, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
  • Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams in complex project environments.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership.

Technical Skills:

  • Agile Delivery Tools: Jira, Agility etc.
  • Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Google chat, SharePoint etc.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Dashboard creation, KPI tracking, Burndown/Burnup analysis, Capacity Planning, Release Tracking

B.E., BTech or MCA
